I think there is a need for a crossdev tracker for enterprise...
Then maybe we could see some original songs pop up from time to time.
Now I think that even when someone gets interested with composing for the enterprise, then he is instantly taken back by the lack of tools to actually make the music...
It would be also easier to "make" and share instruments when having a tracker...
So, anyone here mybe has some experience with how trackers work (from the inside) and (what's more important) has time (I guess a project like that would need at leasty about a year to get a first basic release (reading it now I find that a bit too optimistic)) and knows dave quite well (or someone could help)? Maybe no knowledge about programming a tracker and how dave works would actually be the fun part of it ;P.
I'm currently working on two projects so I kind of lack the time... I hope to finish one soon, but I already had other plans after that:(... (don't hate)
I guess that there won't be any volunteer here as there are no musicians (or so I think) on the forum and they'd be the most interested in having such tool...
Now it's too difficult to make use of the dave sound... (at least for me)
EDIT: found this on the CPCwiki:
https://github.com/AugustoRuiz/WYZTrackerBut haven't looked into it yet... However it's a full source for an AY tracker by Augusto Ruiz...
Don't know about any other 8bit trackers with source code...
