Hi there can someone please help me!
I am currently a CPC hobbyist, but i wish to get hold of a Enterprise computer!
Ever since i first saw the Enterprise in my local computershop as a small boy i have wanted to get hold of my own Enterprise computer!
I know the Enterprise was very popular in Hungary, unlike the rest of Europe..
Is there a way to buy a Enterprise computer in Hungary.. like a second hand computershop?
I am visiting Budapest the next week so i was wondering if a shop like this exists...
Please Help!
Greeting from:

Unfortunately, those shops only sell PCs. I have never seen a shop where I can buy 8 bit computers... But, there is hope for you. I think one of our members who has more EPs will give you an EP as he can easily buy another one.

I don't think so :-( Maybe we should create a webshop for EP stuffs and for the newly developed hardwares?

Hi! Welcome here!
Good to hear, new man want to be a Enterprise user :)
Best way to search in a hungarian internet auction portals, now one machine available (http://vatera.hu/~Szamitastechnika_Retro_szamitogep_kiegeszito/listings/index.php?c=1815), for 5500 HUF.
And one in a second hand shop (http://mogyoro.hu/portal/product.php?action=view&product_id=509177&shop_id=4ee40ab971fb990c), 8600HUF (but one key is missed?)
And I have some spare EP128, but without keyboard membrane :( needed to build in the new PS/2 keyboard interface chip.

Hi all,
Just to let you know I do have some spares.
I have 3 EP64 motherboards (untested), a spare
case (with all keys) but I will need to check if there
is a keyboard membrane.
I will have to look to see what else I have.
Regards
Russ :)

If I can get one up and running I will make sure you have first choice :)
I have looked at the two machines for sale in Hungary, they are quite
cheap.
Is this the normal price? (5,000 - 8,000 HUF)?
In the UK an Enterprise would go for more than that!

Yes. If more extras available with the machine (good looking box, books, cassettes, etc) the price will be more.

Hi There!
A little update on my quest to get hold of a Enterprise computer.
Yesterday i went to the secondhand shop to aquire the mentioned Enterprise computer.
Unfortunatly they had sold the specimen i question last week :-(
So it seems I am back to square one!
(I only succeded in getting completly soaked on my way back to the hotel)
Nice shop though.. There was a lot of nice antique equipment. A Spectrum and a Commodore 64 among others.
But what I realy want is a EP!
I will try to contact some of the people with the adverts. But i am having real problems with the language...
If i find a ore of Enterprise computers i will let you know!
Regards,
CPCLER
I have learnt a hungarian word today: Kozenan, meaning thank you!
