How much was 200 Pound in 1984 in UK? The Article says that the beginning price of EP64 was this and it is cheap, and barely beliveable.

Maybe cheap compared to other home computers at the time (but I don't remember that particularly) but £200 was still a lot of money

It is very difficult to compare £200 in 1984 with todays prices and wages. Very approximately, just with "gut instinct" I would say £200 in 1984 felt like £500 feels today. But I might be wrong! A top spec Samsung Smart phone costs around that to buy outright today so maybe that is a good comparison - state-of-the-art electronics.
