SD card interface
« on: 2019.May.18. 20:04:03 »
Hi all,

I’m new to the forum, I’ve recently bought a lovely Enterprise 128 which is in fantastic condition. I have it connected via scart to my ossc and all is good :)

I’m now looking for an sd card interface so I can start using this machine. Does anyone have one for sale? I have emailed the chap about the Enterprise SD interface but he’s not replied for a few months now.

Thanks :)

Andy

He will answer you soon. He follows a strict email arrival order.

Meanwhile you can try loading programs by Tape(audio from a PC or phone), by Floppy controller(put a PM to Pear) or the easiest way, try the fabulous Enterprise emulator.

Yes - he does this in his spare time so it can take a long time. But it's worth the long wait, because the SD interface is great.

And the good news is that the new SD boards can also have a real time clock. And also FAT16 support is coming in the future too.

I think he bought it on SMR yesterday :)

There are still 3 pieces left. The last. I will not do them any more.
The price of the WD1772 chip has increased to a ridiculous level.

Hi all, thanks for the replies!

Yes, I bought the floppy controller from pear on SMR the other day, it looks like a great piece of hardware.

I’m happy to wait for the sd interface, that too looks amazing and I appreciate he is likely to be a busy guy!
