Hi All,
Can anyone tell me where I can get a hold of 2 complete sets of case and motherboard screws for the Enterprise? I have a 128 and a 64 both without any screws holding them together...
I also need the little rubber joystick ring that sits below the joystick on my 64, and also a joystick cap?
Alternatively, can anyone tell me what size of screws are required?

The thickness of the real ring is about 2,35mm, this is 2mm, also there is no 27mm for the inner diameter, so select 26, but there is 42mm for the outer diameter. Also, the elasticity and hardness could be different, but it worths the try.

I think that the real measures of the original screws are 2.5x6mm(not counting the head), so I have made a search on Ebay and I have found this seller (https://www.ebay.com/itm/M2-M2-5-Black-Oxide-Phillip-Cross-Pan-Head-Self-Tapping-Electronic-Micro-Screw/322071533742?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&var=511000712786&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649). The original screw has the point cut, so I have ordered a pack of the 2,5x8mm ones to try.

I have measured the external diameter of the thread and it is 2,6mm, 0,1mm more than the original, but the original internal dia. is 1,5mm, while the Chinese screw measures about 1,7mm. I think that 0,2mm more will not break the case. Also, the thread of the original screw is a little longer than the Chinese one. I have tried it on the case and I haven't noticed a difference on the necessary turning force.
Of course the screws need to be trimmed to 6mm, removing the point, to not go through the case.

It looks to me though that the new screw has a smaller pitch (finer) thread than the original. The original screws look at though they are self-tapping ie. the EP case was made with a straight-sided hole and the screw cut its own thread in the sides of the hole. If you take one out and put it back, it will use the same thread. But if you use one of the new screws it will try to cut a new thread through the old thread. I'd guess it will work but have a weak grip. If you then use an original screw in the same hole the thread will start to get really mangled and eventually neither screw will hold. I don't have anything better though. :( And keep in mind the original screw might not be a metric size :roll:

These are working for me at most of time. If machine disassembled dozen times, and the hole killed by the lot of screwing then these are little too thin.

Neither of the two is Metric, Whitworth or Pipe(triangle shape), the original is intended for self tapping plastic holes(softer), while the Chinese one is intended for metal sheet(harder), and hence the smaller pitch.
Yes, of course, it is better to not use the two screw types indistinctly, the Chinese one only on the hole that has lost its screw, but I think it is better to have one of these than nothing. On a "normal" use, the EP is opened very rarely. Like Zozo said, even the original screws will get loose after opening the machine dozen times. It is better, if the machine has to be opened frequently, to leave the screws not totally tight when closing it.
This is a good opportunity for keyboardjunkie(on the first commentary), who asked for 2 complete sets of screws.

A good trick to avoid (or at least delay) the original screws loosening their thread is:
Whenever you screw a screw in, turn it backwards until it slightly "clicks" into the thread - Only then start turning in. This makes sure you always hit the old thread and saves on the plastic threads immensely.
Also, don't tighten them as hell - there's no juice to press. ;)
