A conversion of the Boulder Dash games (1, 2, and 3, as well as Boulder Dash 1 and 2 Classic Collections converted from ZX Spectrum) has just been released for the Enterprise here (Hungarian). It was converted from the Amstrad CPC version, but the package also includes loading screens, graphics, and levels from C64 and Spectrum. This program is compatible with, and runs at a playable speed on the EP64, but also supports "turbo" machines running at 6 or 7.12 MHz.

An updated version is now available here.

NOTE: in this version, the bd2cc_a2.lvl level set does not work correctly, the rooms where the player starting position or the exit is in the bottom row will not create a player character or exit. This is caused by an update that made the program emulate the behavior of the C64 version of Boulder Dash 2 more accurately; however, this "classic collection" was made for the Spectrum, where the game is apparently implemented in a slightly different way. The problem can be fixed easily by copying bd2cc_a2.lvl from the previous version, since the older file does not activate the "C64 compatible" mode. The other bd2cc level sets do not seem to have this problem.

Here are two Lua scripts that can be used in the ep128emu debugger:

[ Guests cannot view attachments ]
[ Guests cannot view attachments ]

The first one displays all maps in the bd1cc and bd2cc collections: just load and run the game (in EP128 mode), and then load the script, set the directory where the bd1cc_*.lvl and bd2cc_*.lvl files are found at the beginning of the script (e.g. levelFileDir = "C:\\bouldash\\"), and then run the script. It can be controlled with the internal joystick, A-Z, 1-9, and function keys.

The second script allows for creating new levels, although it is very simple and limited (there can be only one map in the .lvl file, and some features of the game are not supported). It should be used while the game is running, at the menu / title screen. By default, it creates the new level in memory (it can be played immediately as cave A), but by setting an output file name, an .lvl file can also be written instead; however, the output file needs to be compressed first (with dtf -cr -lz2) to be usable.

P.S.: there is an updated version available at the downloads, that fixes the problem described above, and there are a few other changes as well. It also includes the bdlvdisp.lua and bdlvl.lua scripts, and the complete source code.

Download: International Karate+ Reloaded, This game is using advantages of Nick chip, the top half of the screen similar to Amiga version of IK+, and the battle field has the same size as on C64 or on Amiga.
It runs on EP64 too, littlebit slower than the CPC version, but on EP128 it is much faster :D
This is a modified version, keys 1-6 can be used to slow down the program

Download: Sub Hunter Converted Amstrad CPC game.
This game is a new release on Amstrad too, it has been published on 19.02.2011.

The game requires 112Kb RAM, I did not try converting the program to run on EP64, there are several reasons:
I should use extra memory for the wave effect, for various LPT's, and a special loader should be written for loading the program, CPC version had packed data, this is the reason why we have to wait between 2 levels so much, on EP with the extra memory, unpack is not used therefore the wait time decreased.
The game is EXOS compatible, cheat implemented, and some extra built in:
Intro part got some extra colours.
Game
Sub Hunter picture got new colors
Wave effect is better, and got more colours than on CPC
C64 bubble effect implemented
Press Fire text got 16 colours, original version had 8
and some other extra colors

Press any key F1-F8 when Psytronik logo appeared to load Easter Egg for any other key program continue loading the game.
When the game loaded, you can press the following keys any time:
F1 - Infinite lives on
F2 - Infinite lives off
F5 - Skip level
F7 - Return to game menu

Game controls:
Q A O P Space/Int Joy/Ext2 Joy

In the Turbo Asmon 1.5 ROM included the Sándor Gyányi's fast memory test program. This is originaly only work with EXOS 2.1, but now it is modified for make also compatible with the EXOS 2.0. Now you can use with both EP64 and EP128 machines. The test also search RAM in the cartridge, you can easy build a 32K RAM expansion from a two socket cartridge by using 62256 compatible 32K SRAM IC.

SID player for Enterprise 128 has been finished, it can play SID files up to 60 kb, the software is EXOS compatible.
Some of the SID files hangs the player, which writes into area 0D000h-0DFFFh, this area contains the code of the player
Enjoy it :)
Controls:
Int joy, Esc, space

I found one mistake, it is corrected now, and the player is now plays in ABC stereo.
