Videoton TV Computer emulator V1.2 (Software).
Hardware req:
128 kb RAM

Programs can be load from cassette, and disk also, if DISK interface attached, then directory of the disk can be listed with VERIFY Basic command.
Basic programs and several machine code programs are running on the emulator.

TVC Soft reset: Stop+Hold
TVC Hard reset: Stop+Hold more times

Reset button will perform soft reset on Enterprise

Known bugs:
the sequence of upper 8 colours are different in the emulator than in TVC, because of limits of Enterprise BIAS.

Conversion of Amstrad CPC version of Short Circuit by John Brandwood. The game is EXOS compatible, needs at least 112KB RAM.

Conversion of Videoton TV Computer version of Donkey Kong Junior by Károly Kiss, The game is EXOS compatible, runs on EP64.

Controls: QAOP,Space, any joystick
F2 EP_speed (timing by interrupts)
F3 TVC_speed (timing by instructions)

Following works during game play only:
F4 gray shades
F5 normal palette
F6 night palette
F7 fast game
F8 not so fast game :D
S sounds on/off

Conversion of Amstrad CPC version of Renegade by John Brandwood (Elmer). The game is EXOS compatible, needs at least 114KB RAM.
Modifications:
- Bottom of screen got a raster bar.
- Game has horizontal scroll
- some additional colours in main screen, and status field

Controls:
Up: W, Int/EXT1/2 Up,QAOP

Right: D, Int/EXT1/2 Right

I don't know if everybody reads the Hungarian topics, perhaps yes. Anyway, a new game has been finished recently: Dots and Gems (download).
It is a pacman-like game with a scrolling screen. Collect all the gems and at least 200 dots to defeat the monsters. Take care of the gate that sometimes opens and closes when picking up a new gem. If you hit a monster you will lose energy. Energy can be refilled by picking up gems. However if you lose too much energy, the gate will not open easily and you may not be able to collect the gems behind the gate.

What is difficult? You mean, how the gate opens and closes?
Well, you start with energy level 0. As you pick up gems you get more and more energy. Your maximal energy level can be 4. If you reached energy level 4 by picking up a gem, the gate will open. If you pick up another gem, the gate will close. Then it will open and close again and so on. However if you hit the monsters your energy level will fall. If your energy level is below 3, the gate won't open by picking up a single gem, you have to pick up more to get energy level 4. So, if you crash the monsters too much you may not be able to open the gate and you cannot finish the level.
Consider that if you go behind the gate and pick up gems there you may close yourself so sometimes you have to collect everything before entering the gate to accomplish the level.
If you have got the 200 dots and all the gems the level isn't finished yet! You have to hit a monster to finish the level. The status display is on the top of the level so you cannot always see if you can hit a monster and go to the next level or not yet.

My commentary was very cryptic, sorry...

I am not a great player, that's all. I put my attention on other things, like how fast is a zipped Basic program when it is correctly written....

I would love to use the compiler, but I don't know all its limitations, only whole numbers, but there are a lot more, true?.

All the SF3 examples are written in basic, but once I tried to zip the SEplayer, very simple. It didn't give me errors while compiling but it hung when starting.

Can you link here that basic program? I would check it.

Anyway, the most important limitations:
- Use only whole numbers (integers).
- Do not use numbers bigger than 32767 (it won't always cause error but the value will change into negative, below zero). Use integer numbers from -32768 to 32767 only.
- All the variables are handled as "common" (global). Variables defined inside a DEF structure will not be "inner" (local) variables using Zzzip but handled in the entire program. No variables are handled locally.
- No software system extension (resident program) should be in the memory when using a program compiled with Zzzip.
- As I rememmber, exos232 had some bugs and compiled programs might not compile properly.

Isn't there an English manual for the Zzzip? Maybe I have seen one.

Modified version of original ScoreTrack ROM, it works on Emulator, and with SF3 also, it dynamically detects drives, so you an work with 4 SD drive also.
Memory allocation of iriginal ROM has been fixed, now bigger SNG files can be loaded also
