Yes. It has been a while since I have used it but I have had it running :)

I will PM you my mail and we can take the rest there.

BTW: If you want I could borrow you a EP64 with EXOS2.4 for development. I bought an Egyptian EP some time ago when my 128 broke down. It worked flawlessly after a recap and new keymembrane. My 128 should be finished at the repair now (fingers crossed) and as soon as I recieve it I can send you the EP64 so you can start testing your work on EP. With SF3 you do not notice the lack of Ram. Up to you! :)

Hi! That is very very very kind of you! But the EP64 is very rare and i don't want to take that risk, if it gets broken or something else happens. I suggest you keep it in a safe place! :D
I will just wait for ZoZoSoft when he feels the need to send my Enterprise 128 back to me.  I hope he will do some day. If it is still broken i can ask someone else to repair it.
But very kind of you to do this offer! In the mean time i will try to contact Prodatron about the status of the SF3 drivers for Enterprise.
Have fun with the Z80!

No problem! Just say the word if you reconsider :)

And please mail me (see PM) if there is anything you would like me to test.

Today I bring you some good news.

The first one is that Prodatron has reappeared and is actually working on SymbOS.

What means this? Yes, other times I have written the same here, without any movement on the Enterprise side of the operative system, but now he seems to come with renovated aim.

What I am expecting from him? you don't know probably, but the CPC owners have better SymbiFace3 integration on SymbOS than we on our loved computer, for example, they can access the SF3 USB massive storage and have USB mouse working on SymbOS. Then I think that it will be "easy" for Jörn(Prodatron's real name) to add the same functions to the EP, MSX and PCW SymbOS ports.

This alone would be great, but I expect also that he would stay from now on more accessible so, if an error on the code happens, he could fix it faster than several years....

The second new is about a mix of things.

Probably you remember TrebMint (Rob Buckley). He is an EnterpriseForever member and also the  British coder who has created the Quigs environment to write SymbOS apps. He has the firm intention of integrate the Yamaha V9990 graphics on SymbOS. Ok, there is  a normal SymbOS and the SymbOSG9K version(G9K alludes to the original MSX cartridge based on the V9990 chip, the GFX-9000, from the Sunrise group), where the SymbOS screen is output to the V9990 graphics card, but Trebmint is working on adding all the amazing characteristics, to allow the programmers to manage all its colourful power.

Edoz(Edo Van Zanten), another member of this forum and active user of the Quigs environment, already showed you a G9K demo game he was working in.

So today, Trebmint and Edoz have released a demo of the QuigsG9K environment, and I have tried successfully the Flappy Bird demo on my real Enterprise gear.

Here is it. Here is also the 10Mhz EP version, I don't see any difference.

May be this is not interesting to you, but think that the same game works the very same on MSX, CPC and Enterprise. Isn't it exciting?

Super news!! :)

Is it possible to get a copy of FlappyBird? I am the lucky owner of a V9990 and would love to try it out on my setup.

Yes, of course. You will need to run it inside the SymbOSG9K version for Enterprise, here.

More SymbOS activity:

NYYR1KK1(Finland), one of the MSX geniuses, has ported to MSX the code of a simplistic Doom clone made for the Texas Instruments calculators TI-83 and TI-83 plus.

Then he has done a port to SymbOS, and Prodatron has become interested and has optimised it.

This video is me playing on an EP with a test version of the game. It is 10Mhz mode, but still very playable on 4Mhz.

Two new games for SymbOS have been released, Sokoban and 2048.

And there is a game on process for the V9990 cartridge, Micro Machines.

NYYR1KK1(Finland) has released an assembler kit to develop for SymbOS.

As it uses SjAsmPlus(1.16.0. and upper versions) the developing kit can be used on Win or Linux environments. It also can be used with  WinApe, but it is only for Win.

The kit is aimed for SymbOS noob programmers, and it contains a readme file inside explaining some basic facts.
