Display / Re: Display issue
« on: Yesterday at 09:16 »
Thank you for your help, I managed to get a bit of improvement on the picture by turning L2, but after turning it a little way, the plastic screw head just crumbled. Now I have no picture at all (I think L2 is just set to something the TV can't sync to)

I'm really having no luck with this Enterprise.

Is L2 replaceable, what would it be called?

It's in lovely condition, had never been opened before today (serial no sticker intact) and I've managed to repair the keyboard.

I'm not sure what to do with it, at the moment with my luck I'm thinking about putting it on ebay as repairs before I make it any worse.

Maybe try https://commodoreszerviz.hu/. Zoltan have previously fixed a machine of mine.

Mr. Vilmos Kopacsy (boss of Hungarian Enterprise company) are become a big Atari ST fan, then there is both ST and Enterprise machines in the 'a' Studio.

BTW: Does anybody know what happend til Vilmos and a-studio? I visited him in Hungary in 87 and 88 (as far as i remember) and especially the last time it was obvious that he was going 16bit.

Input devices / Re: Can I use NEOS mouse with EnterMice?

Quick question:

My EnterMice looks a bit different than yours :)

It looks like A3 and B3 are connected here.

Is it ready to go?

Input devices / Can I use NEOS mouse with EnterMice?
« on: 2021.June.14. 20:19:29 »
I have recently gotten hold of an original NEOS mouse :-)

Can I use that with the EnterMice interface to get the real old school PaintBox feeling?

I have not so far tested. The reason why I ask is that it is the C64 version of the mouse and I just want to be sure that I do not fry anything trying. If you use the MSX version of the NEOS mouse on a C64 it will/can destroy the SID-chip that controls the ports.

Thank you in advance!

it is ready i think, but it would be better on ep if the graphics is converted to color 16 mode.

What is the best way to do this? :)

I maybe would be able to give it a go over the summer.

I would really like to see this classic on the EP

I know there is a C64 port also. Not sure if a port for the CPC was ever made.

This is a perfect opportunity to also test the ScoreTrack MIDI Rom, that has been fixed by Geco.

Just enter the SYNTH mode executing :SF3 AMODE 7   and then press the Enter key. Once done you can enter the ScoreTrack Rom you have already installed, with :ST  + Enter.

Is there special MIDI-files you have to use with ScoreTrack?

I tried the above method with a couple of MIDIs from here https://enterpriseforever.com/sound/midi/msg80702/#new but I always get an error saying that the file does not work with version 1.0 of ScoreTrack. ScoreTrack sees the .MID file.

Hardware / Recommendation - If you need your EP repaired ..
« on: 2020.October.20. 18:06:19 »
If you - as I have had - has hardware problems with your EP machines I can highly recommend Commodore Szerviz http://commodoreszerviz.hu/.

Zoltan - who owns the shop - has fixed my Egyptian EP64 and is in the proces of fixing my EP128 which I thought was dead and gone. The prices has been very fair and there has been excellent communication along the way.

All in all highly recommend!!

This is a bit of topic but what is the difference between the different issues?

And I can confirm that the Egyptian EP64's are issue 6. At least my Egyptian EP64 is issue 6 :)

Some adapters travelling from Spain to the Netherlands. The large PCBs at the left side are the AMSDAP, a CPC bus expander with 2 MSX slots. Hans kindly shared the diagram design with me when I was trying to make the M-Slot.

Impressive work @gflorez. As allways :smt041
