Yup - thats the one - I seem to remember being told the Amstrad version was better than the Spectrum version - was this the case (for anyone who has played both)?

Geco,

Thanks for converting those - managed to waste several hours playing Donkey Kong !!

Did they ever do a version of a game called Elite for the Amstrad CPC? I know they did a Spectrum version (and several other versions as well) - the BBC version was one of the greatest games ever if your looking for something else to convert !!

Cheers

P.s. Did Elite ever make it to Hungary?

For Sale / Re: Ebay auctions

Guys,

Its rare enough that something for the Enterprise appears on ebay - and after bidding for some bits over the last weekend - maybe its worth looking at agreeing a policy where we decide who is bidding on something before hand to limit the total price. I dont mind paying for stuff - but seems a bit pointless if we are bidding against each other when we can all benefit?

Not sure how we can do it - but if anyone wants to suggest anything ???

Other option is to swap for an auction in Hungary - would happily swap the software in the ebay auction for a fully working EP128 and disk drive from Budapest rather than using paypal !!

Zozo,

If you want to win that auction - let me know and I will bid for you - just let me know what your limit is. You can paypal me the money after the auction etc. (and if you dont pay I can always keep the items myself ;) :D )

For Sale / Re: on Vatera

There are plenty of bits and pieces (including what looks like a full EP system) on Vatera at the moment - its a pity someone from Hungary cant act as a go between :( as I would buy the Enterprise.

I wonder if anyone has thought of doing it on commission here - there would be plenty of people who could pay someone by paypal and include 10-20% for the service as at least things are available in Hungary - anything that comes up on ebay in the UK seems to be from someone in Hungary anyway !!

Good luck with the Spectrum emulator !!

Wanted / Enterprise on Vatera
« on: 2007.June.20. 23:44:55 »
Hi,

Apologies in advance, but could someone let me know if this is a genuine Enterprise auction and how I go about bidding on it from the UK ?

Link on Vatera is: -

http://www.vatera.hu/item/view/index.php?cod=28749395&adult=1

Might be easier to get another Enterprise than to try and find a keyboard membrane?

Input devices / Re: PC keyboard for Enterprise

Might look at using a PC keyboard as the connector from the membrane to the motherboard has been getting shorter every year as it loses its connectivity. I either need to look at soldering (or extending) the tracks from the existing membrane or getting a replacement membrane (which looks pretty much impossible !).

If anyone has any suggestions - please let me know !!

Hi,

I've edited the English introduction to the "Unofficial EXOS versions by Zozosoft". I've tried to keep it as true to the original version whilst making it a little more "English" to read - let me know if you think its okay (or anything I've missed - its late and I've had a long day  :(

Hardware / Re: Your Enterprise configuration?
« on: 2007.June.20. 10:11:04 »
Zozo,

The case says "Enterprise ONE TWO EIGHT"

Photos of the motherboard are a little tricky - the raised RAM expansion isnt easy to move so cant get the motherboard out of the case without risking breaking it - however top photo attached.

Last question, is it possible to get replacement keyboard membranes anywhere?

Cheers

P.s. MrPrise - I am happy to help with proof reading translations and sorting grammatical errors and typos etc.

Zozo,

From a quick look - I cant see any circuit board changes on my disk controller on the top, however the bottom is slightly different - instead of saying "1786" - mine says "0686" and the there are no components on the bottom (i.e. no resistor etc.). From memory I cant remember the motherboard issue number but it does say "1984 Flan Computers" on it.

Cheers
