IIRC I did use the RGB with an old Amstrad RGB monitor when I had a dodgy 12v line and it work OK(ish) - It gave a picture anyway.

Have you seen the schematics here.
I had en ep64 that needed the power circuit repaired - it worked out easier to remove the lot and use modern parts to generate the 12v line.

Do you have UK part numbers for the caps - I have a couple of Enterprises (a newly acquired 64 and my old 128) that have broken 12v lines and very dodgy looking caps throughout. Also the 64 has a broken coil, any idea where I might get a replacement?.

Taking the Enterprise apart is always a bit of a risk with the keyboard membrane -- do you not have enough length left to cut the end off? I've done that far too many times now...

My newly installed memory expansion (and EXOS 2.4beta) is working perfectly 
Sadly another Enterprise membrane gave up the ghost though, luckily I had a spare one handy, better get another one ordered.

On the morning that my memory upgrade for the Enterprise arrived the Register decided to print this Story of the Enterprise 128.
At least it saved me having to explain to everyone in the office what the Enterprise 128 was.
