which email do I send pics of labels etc to?

is there a disassembly guide or is it straightforward enough?

where would the warranty label be (when you ask label intact?, is there a screw under the serial number etc)

Ill need to get a basic cartridge, does the same carrt work on both machines? I seem to remember reading the 64 and 128 had different revisions?
Yes the EP64 come with version 2.0 and EP128 with 2.1. But the 2.1 also work with EP64.

It is very simple. In previous post I linked how to disassemble the keyboard.

On this photo are red marked the screws for the keyboard. You can see another 5 screws these needed to removed if you want completly disassemble the machine.
One at the corner of the Serial/Warranty label. I think voiding the warranty don't a big problem after 30 years :-) but the intact label are very rare todays. If your label intact then very carefully can blend up the corner of label for accessing the screw.

At the bottom of machine you see on the photo.

If all screws removed then can lift up the top part of case. Do it very carefully because the keyboard membrane connected to the motherboard! Can broke the connection trails! Firstly lift up the front (keyboard) part of the top, until you can access the membrane connection, then pull out from the motherboard connectors, then can fully remove the top part of case.

Do you tested the machines, keyboard fully working? Very common problem with the 30 years old membranes: it is start broke at the connection, then rows or columns of keys are dead. At this situation can be repaired by cutting broken few milimeters from the connection trails at the end.

The EP have a internal speaker, you can hear keyboard Click sound when pressing keys. (After the powerup wait few second to memory testing, more on 128K machine)
Then without display you can test the computer started, and most of keys working (not all generate sound).

Yes and also possible put other programs beside Basic for fill whole 64K.

Are totally common 3.5 jack audio cables. Any standard casette recorder can be used.
Remote controlling are optionaly for this needed a 2.5 jack cable. The original cable have one wire with 3.5 jacks and one with 2.5 jacks.
If you need I can send original cable.

I highly recommend my Quick RAM test, it is also include the WP 2.6
It is 16K, BASIC also 16K, then 32K remaining.
With my RAM test can put 32K SRAM chip to cartridge, then you got 32K memory expansion.

Other choice put another programs to this 32K, there is some for selection:
Other programing languages:
IS-FORTH 16K
IS-LISP 16K
HiSoft Pascal 32K

Assembler/Monitor/Disassembler: ASMON 32K

Cyruss Chess II 16K

(PS: I got the photos, thanks!)

basic + RAM test is good

other 32k

I assume I could load any of these via tape/disk also if required?

IS-forth & is-lisp would be my choice

I have just received the bits to build rgb cable so will do at the weekend as rf picture was very poor on my tv (but good enough to check functionality)
128 has a coup[le of keys stuck so disassembled keboard and cleaned it up(rubber membreane and general crap between keys)
keys are no loger stuck so hopeful that when I fire it up tonight it will be ok maybe...

Wow!
Scanned manuals for the Enterprise versions:
IS-FORTH
IS-LISP

And few weeks ago started a FORTH topic.
