Hi all,
i need some help to translate some hungarian words in English or German :oops:
To add some "Metadatas" for the enterprise-games in eCC, i need to know the following words :

I think :
kiadó = Publisher
Cím = Game [or rom ?]
típus = Genre [or Categorie]
akció = Action
stratégia = Strategy
Maybe :
motorverseny = (racing ?)
logikai = (logical ?)
Psion = (Board-game ?)
autóverseny = (Car Racing ?)
repülőgép szimulátor = (flight simulator ?)
but what is :
űrhajós =
ügyességi =
lövöldözős =
kaland =
szöveges =
mászkálós =
verekedős =

verekedős = fighting (beat-em-up)
akció = action game
foci = football
flipper = pinball
logikai = logic game
startégia = strategy game
sakk = chess
oktatóprogram = educational

I think i can help you out a little bit! :)
Cím = Game [or rom ?],
In this context I think this means "Title"
Maybe :
motorverseny = Motorbike racing (racing ?)
logikai = (logical ?)
its ok!
Psion = (Board-game ?)
autóverseny = (Car Racing ?)
its ok!
repülőgép szimulátor = (flight simulator ?)
its ok!
űrhajós = I can only describe this category. You're sit in a spaceship and shoot out every single moving target :)
ügyességi = i think this is similar to "logical"
lövöldözős = shooting
kaland = adventure
szöveges = text based (adventure)
mászkálós = i think same as adventure, or maybe platform
verekedős = fighting (like renegade :))

well...I've allready thought, that PSION isn't a "GENRE"....so this is a wrong "entry" on the Game "Backgammon" ;-)

űrhajós = I can only describe this category. You're sit in a spaceship and shoot out every single moving target :)
I would say space shooter, like Uridium, Bedlam if you can only shoot. They are also shoot 'em up. That is true for the "űrhajós lövöldözős" category. But since Elite is also in the "űrhajós" category, that is not always true. Elite would be a space trader IMHO.

"Büschel" ergibt hier leider keinen Sinn..... :mrgreen: (Sagt man höchstens bei Haaren......= ein "Haarbüschel" [eine Hand voll Haare...z.b. nach einem Friseur-Besuch..] )
Ich denke mal, dass in diesem Fall Paket gemeint ist....= Programm-Paket :roll:
In English :

Basic program pack
Hereunder you can chose basic programs which are made by enthusiastic amateurs. Common feature of the programs is slow program running, but nobody let this discourage, you can find here some very good idea also. Some game has surprisingly good implementation owing of sophisticated IS-BASIC.

Clicking on "weblapfordító", a web page can be translated. you have to give the direction of translation: magyar means Hungarian, angol means English. Click the red button "fordít" after given the url.
"Szövegfordító" works the same way. Copy-paste your text, choose languages (source and target language, there are a number of languages here) and click "fordít". You can try to translate here into German (német), the result of translation must be very funny for you. :D
The translated text will not be correct, of course, but in most cases you can understand the content of the text.

I normaly use the Babelfish (http://de.babelfish.yahoo.com/) for translating...but there is no Hungarian/Magyar on it.
And I know, the translatet text is allways realy funny :ds_icon_cheesygrin: (but better than nothing ! )

what is the German and/or english translation for :
Baltazar az ürszemetes
found it in the Basic-Programs (http://www.ep128.hu/Ep_Games/Leiras/Basic_Program_Pack.htm)
Online-Translation don't match here : Baltazar az ürszemetes = Baltazar der ürszemetes (german) = Baltazar the ürszemetes (english) :oops:

Baltazar is a name.
"Ûrszemetes" might be a profession. Well, this expression doesn't have too much sense neither in Hungarian. :D
"Szemetes" means "dust bin", "litter bin", "refuse bin" but here it might mean also a person who deals with taking away the litter (garbage man, refuse collector).
"Ûr" means "space", so "ûrszemetes" might be a person who takes away the litter in the space. A very sophisticated and intellectual expression. :D
The greatest translator software will be which translates also expressions like this. :D

To tell the truth I didn't know neither the word "Müllmann" nor "garbage man", just the Hungarian word. I had to consult a dictionary.
Ehrich gesagt kannte ich weder das Wort "Müllmann" noch "garbage man", nur das ungarische Wort. Ich musste ein Wörterbuch benutzen.
Müllmann - garbage man - szemetes (ember) Thanks for making me learn these words! Danke für diese Wörter mir lernen lassen haben. (Wie sagt man es richtig auf Deutsch?)
