Title: Off topic

Я вас понял, коллега, я все хорошо понял  :lol: (с)
That's great, also Ukrainian text from Enterprise fans!
Most of us Hungarians here learned Russian but in the reality we might understand just a few words. Does your sentence mean: "I phoned you, colleague, I really phoned you"?

Very close. It's not Ukrainian, but Russian sentence. It's well known by comedy "Pokrova's gates" (1980).
"I understood you, colleague, I has well understood you"

понял = understood
позвонил = phoned (called)

To make things more confusing, in Ukrainian this sentence (faithful) would be:
Я зрозумів Вас, друже, я Вас дуже добре зрозумів  :)

So did we Czechs.  ;-) But we (often falsely) think we understand more, as both languages are Slavic. :)

I should start reading some Ukrainian IT webs. It looks like they must be easier to understand than the Russian ones, not taking Azbuka into account...  :)

Jetzt kann ich sogar etwas ungarisch : felhasználói = Utility = Anwenderprogramm  :mrgreen:

Is "kann" used also in this meaning? I would say "Jetzt weiss ich..." or "Jetzt spreche ich..."
Is "kann" not only used with another verb (like English "can"), as I cannot say in English "I can something Hungarian" just "I know something in Hungarian"?

Or did you mean "Jetzt kann ich sogar etwas ungarisch sagen"?

In diesem Fall bedeutet "kann" soviel wie : verstehen, kennen,wissen wie,.... ;-)

Also: "jetzt verstehe ich sogar etwas von der ungarischen Sprache"

And you're right.....In this case, "kann" means : know or knowing
"Now, I know something in Hungarian" or "Now, i can understand something in Hungarian"

puh...German is a difficult language  :ds_icon_cheesygrin:

If you wanted to say: "I can speak english" : you can say : "Ich kann englisch sprechen"....but you can also say: "Ich kann Englisch"  :shock:

Interesting. I have never heard about it. Good to hear from a native German speaker. :)

Ich meine, es hängt von dir zu entscheiden ob Cauldron und Sorcery echte Enterprise Spiele sind. Sie enthalten Eigenschäfte die die CPC und Spectrum Versionen nicht haben was erschwert zu entscheiden ob sie echte oder nicht echte EP Spiele sind.
(I hope the German sentence is correct. If not, you can correct it in the Off topik. Cheesy )

Dein Deutsch ist wirklich sehr gut ! :smt023
Den ersten Satz könnte man etwas anders formulieren :
"Ich denke, dass es deine Entscheidung ist, ob Cauldron und Sorcery echte Enterpreis-Spiele sind."

Im zweiten Satz müsste es Eigenschaften heissen (nicht Eigenschäfte)

Ansonsten nahezu perfekt  :smt109

btw.
Woher kommen deine guten Deutschkenntnisse ? -.....Studium....Verwandte.....die Kindheit hier verbracht ?

Danke! Auch für die Verbesserung!

Ich habe die Fremdsprachen sehr gern. Im Gymnasium musste ich Deutsch lernen. Es tat mir damals Leid dass ich auch Englisch nicht lernen könnte. Aber kein Problem, zu Hause beschäftigte ich mich mit anderen Sprachen.  :ds_icon_cheesygrin: Und ich mag auch Deutsch.

Unfortunately I have forgotten a lot so I had to use dictionary to write about the Sorcery and Cauldron conversions in German.

I hope it's not a problem that we sometimes write here in German.

Since this topic is rarely used, I don't think so.
