Are the chapter numbers also the same?

yes, the chapter numbers are the same (2.0), only the Keyboard driver has the date 26-Nov-84 instead of 29-Nov-84, but has the same chapter number (ET13/5)

For the schematics look at there and what you not found (for example the cable connection pages) needed to be scanned.

"QUICKTEST" = "SCHNELLTEST"
"WRITTEN BY" = "ENTWICKELT VON"
"HOLD = pause testing" = "HOLD = Tests anhalten"
"(C)old reset" = "(C) Kaltstart"
"(E)XOS reset" => no translation necessary 
"(A)dvanced Test" = "(A) Erweiterter Test"
"(N)ormal test" = "(N)ormaler Test"
"(T)est-rom enable" = "(T)est-rom aktivieren"
"(R)amdisk delete" => If this means to delete the Ramdisk, then the translation is "(R)amdisk löschen" (or "(R)amdisk loeschen" if yo don't have the german special letters like ö, ä, ü and ß). If it means to disable the Ramdisk, then the translation is "(R)amdisk deaktivieren"
"F1: test only to F8" = "F1: Tests nur bis F8"

The problem is that many of the german words are longer than their english counterparts, so usually the screens doesn't have enough space for it. Then you can use shortcuts, like "STOP: Halt, wenn fehlerh. Segmente gef. wurden".
But i think most of the german Enterprise-users would prefer the english translations

Well, i think for word processors and business use an Enterprise with a german keyboard is better. For programming it doesn't matter if you use a german or an english enterprise. But a BASIC with german messages was a really novum, i think it helped people who doesn't speak english to understand what the computer want Otherwise english messages also helps to learn the english language

In my case i like the german Enterprises because it wasn't really common in these days to release a home computer with a german keyboard and german messages

Edit: The BASIC of the enterprise has good translations. But many translation in these days were really bad, so when you read it you didn't understand what the text means. So most users prefer the english text instead. Also there are some words that you can't really translate into german without destroying the meaning of the word

Hmm, i think that Enterprise Computers thought that it was an advantage in selling the computers when they have german keyboards. Also the german Enterprise division was big, so i think that's two of the reasons why there were 2 Enterprises, English and German.

I don't know about a law which order localized computers in Germany, but there was such a law in Spain. First all computers with 64kb RAM had to have localized spanish keyboards. That's the reason why there was an Amstrad CPC472 released in Spain. It has 8KM more, completely unused RAM, only because then the keyboard could be an english one. Later the law was extended to computers with more RAM, so the later Amstrad-computers had spanish keyboards. But as i know in Germany we didn't had such a law.
