Enterprise in Spain and in Spanish

On another side I own   "Guia de programacion de Enterprise", the "Programin guide" in spanish.
Great! Can you scan it?
Is it an official translated book for the machine?

And what do you know about the Enterprise history in Spain? How many machines were sold, which versions, etc, etc...

I only know my poor history.

I read a rewiew about EP in a local review  and then decided to buy  one 128. In six months of that, PROEINSA, the distribuitor canceled all the sales.

I contacted with a tecnician of the firm and he passed me the photocopies of the EXOS 2.0, IS-DOS 0.4, Spectrum to EP basic converter and the  Lisp booklet (all in english).

If you think you the hungarians have been lonely yourshelf, think of the spanish people.

I loved mi EP but never have a game or an aplication other than fabricated by me in basic or rudimentary code.( Except the game Mordon Quest)

But about ten years ago I had a Commodore Amiga and W.W.W and then found EP Depository and the Hungarian History.

Now a week ago I found Enteprise forever and then reborn in me the love for my EP.

On the other side mi unit is an 128 english keyboard. Proeinsa only translated the user book and the adverts.

Thanks for your story!

Why I asked: in the last few years I see many Enterprise items in the Spanish eBay. (I got a brand new EP64 from a Spanish seller!)
And sometimes see a Spanish EP buyers on Hungarian auction portals.
We thinked the Enterprise is exist in Spanish but don't know any details about the Spanish users.

I dont know the number of EPs selled in Spain as I dont Know any other ownwer.

The company PROEINSA already exist today, but is unreachable for me.

I can scan the documentation by time as I have little spare time. May be this weekend.

My programs were few only oriented to my bussines as I used it most to print billings.

I never have a floppy controler but a Sony tape recorder for little computers( soon I'll post a photograph).

My printer was a Ritteman F+ a clone of a Epson, and my monitor was a green Antarex (nothing of color).

Whith all the limitations I enjoyed very much my EP (my early computer was a Spectrum).

In leisure time I wrote few programs. A Mandelbrot set written in basic and the tricky formula in machine code, an interrupt routine to show the time in the upper line, and a screen dumper written in basic and code.( All coding with DATA statements in basic and without an assembler!).

Then I discovered Amiga and then the EP was only for bussines.

On Monday I could say you the serial and maybe upload some things.

The story of other users in Spain could be the same as mine as altough I buyed

magazines from England  I never have read a word then about my EP128.

I only remember "Computing Today" a generalist magazine once demonstrating the bubble sort in a Basic list for the EP.

Thanks for the "Machine code for beginners". I searched in vain for years but I only can speak  "bad spanish and worse english"

Thanks for the scannig, it is very interesting!
Now we have a five versions of the Enterprise programming book:
English, German, Hungarian, Dutch, Spanish!

Another question: are you got a Demonstration Cassette with your EP? It is a English or Spanish?

Great to hear any Enterprise used for work not only for playing :-)
Do you writed programs wich calculating the prices and etc for the bills, or only used the Word Processor for print the bills?

The demostration cassette is in english, the normal examples in basic and the invaluable interlace mode program at last.

The business program.... I have to look for it, as for the other programs. Many, many years.....

Thanks to Florez for the Spanish verion, it's really interesting for me as I am interested in Spanish language.
Where is the Dutch version available for download? I cannot find it.

Thanks to Zozo, I've translated the HUN.ROM(BRD.ROM) and the EXDHUN.ROM(a modified EXDOS.ROM with IS-DOS included), to the Spanish language. Even the special characters and the keyboard have been patched.

It is only for my own joy, but  I am sharing with you all.

On the other side I will share too the ints to do it. Is easy if you Know what to change.

It exist for (English of course) German, Hungarian, and now for Spanish. If you Know about hex editors, and comparing files you'll feel in your own.

If you are are one of the few Spanish  interested in this computer, simply put those Roms in the memory of the EP128emu and that's all. If  you don't have enough with the emulator, take the real thing and beg somebody(Zozo?) if he can burn it for you in an EPROM in a  cartridge (with the BASIC.ROM).

Gustavo.

No se entiende is equivalent for Not understood. Would it be right to say No entendido, the literal equivalent for the English expression?
As I see, Disk operation aborted is translated word by word.

For Szipucsu:

Yes, is also valid, but the lack of space sometimes makes the sentence very criptic. then when I have room for more  I put more words to do it more expressive. I like my machine but I like more the response of a person.

For Endi:

That part is in the BASIC.ROM and then is untouched also by BRD.ROM and HUN:ROM. If you like to translate it, is easy, only dowload a free Hex editor and do it. There is not checksum but you must respect the spaces and lenght of the file. On some sentences there are byte count, but in others you can't put larger words than the space you have, and then you have to abreviate. You must then change the name of the file to diference it from the original.

I don't want a exaustive search of words to translate, and as I'm not a machine coder I only pretend to take advantage of the BRD.ROM and the HUN.ROM(Zozo) utilities in my language.

To Zozo:

Last nigth I've noted that when in BRD, HUN or ESP, the Editor by default is the old one WP 2.1 not the 2.6.

Then, in it, not all the text is tranlated, I think now that it is because is not text, but graphics, and then I'm sarching for them to complete the translation.(I will inform you)

Thanks for all, and your advices.

I'm going to release the final versions of the Spanish roms.

I've using them with the simulator for about two months and I don't find any more own errors to fix.

Thanks to all for the sugestions, and specially to Zozo.
