We can ask the video owner (gutlessyogi) to send us the original avi version. Shall I write him or has already anybody written him? At any case I have saved the flv file and attached it to this message.

(Is the word already correct here in my sentence?)
100 SOUND SOURCE 2,STYLE 128,PITCH 25.2,SYNC 1
110 SOUND PITCH 25,SYNC 1
120 ! Videos

hi i was the AD at the agency making this ad. I have it as a transfer from VHS to vob files on DVD disc. I helped launch it in the UK and was involved with the company . there was a 64k version too.

It's great! Can you publish the DVD version on anyway? (upload to ftp or copy and send DVD or etc)
Do you have other Enterprise materials?
Your agency also produced the printed commercials for the Enterprise?

hi  if one of you sends me an email with your physical address I will burn a dvd and post it to you. You can then do what you like with it.
I have no further materials unfortunately. You could try contacting the agency, Lowe, In London and speaking to someone in TV production or press production; I doubt they kept the originals. The creative team who conceived the ad were Mike Stephenson and Derek Apps. They were a well known top creative team. Mike is now a commercials director I think. If you track him down he may have a better quality copy on U matic or similar. The client was Mr Mirpuri, an Indian entrepreneur with an import/export business in the East End of London who thought this new PC thing was a good way to make money!! He acquired the franchise from the makers. They went bust fairly soon on this one as the IBM PC stormed the market soon after.
cheers  rick

This is VERY cool.
Too bad the youtube version has the sound distorted (or is it intentional?)

how large are the ripped DVD files? Is it a full DVD (4 gigs?)?

is it possible to host it somewhere?
I'll send you my physical address in a pm. Let me know how you'd like to have your cost covered.

Guys,

I received the DVD and I've uploaded the .dv files to the FTP site on Friday.

They will need converting to something smaller/easier to view though !!

Zozo - are you looking into converting them?

Cheers

Tricky

I'm a Mac user.
DV files are usually MPEG2 files (not mac specific).
I could convert the files for you (e.g. to quicktime H264 mpeg4), if you send me any info where to get the files from.

try this google search for DV to xxxx conversion

<-- I'm in the office at the moment ;-) usually there's Mac OS X there.
