"The cursor translation lever..."

It was a good translation in the sense that I could understand it. But if I type "joystick" into Google Translate it gives me "Джойстик" and if translate that back to English it gives me "joystick" again. So presumably the original text did not use that word!

Yes. Original text use "...lever-stick which allows the cursor to be..."

Found this article from Domus magazine at Scribd (unfortunatly pages are cropped).

It would be interesting to know what they write, as i see it is Dutch, and as i remember some RAM expansion was produced in Netherland.

https://archive.org/details/midi-projects-ra-penfoldacme/page/n7/mode/2up?q=enterprise+128

Quote
MIDI interfacing enables any so equipped instruments, regardless of the manufacturer, to be easily connected together and used as a sophisticated system. The MIDI interface also permits easy computer control of these complex systems, and a few MIDI instruments plus a suitable computer and interface can provide the user with what is virtually a programmable orchestra.

The main part of this book deals with the “missing link", by providing details of how to interface many popular home computers with MIDI systems. Machines covered include the Amstrad CPC464 and 6128, the CBM 64 and-VIC-20, the BBC model В, MTX and MSX machines аs well as the Sinclair QL, Spectrum and ZX81. Also covered is interfacing MIDI equipment to analogue and percussion synthesisers.
