I am looking for a min. 2A power supply that can supply both my EP and Exdos card (with drive) so I only need one supply. I have the standard 1,3A but it is not enough to power both.
Any recommendations?

Try this (https://www.tme.eu/hu/katalog/#id_category=113629&s_field=artykul&s_order=DESC&visible_params=2%2C36%2C98%2C364%2C364%2C622%2C631%2C631%2C635%2C636%2C637%2C2503%2C2706&used_params=364%3A55702%3B631%3A67520%3B)
Attention, reverse polarity, so the connection only via the EXDOS card (on my card there are a diodes rectifier up to 5A).

The "standard" English PSU has 2A output, while the German one has a lower output. Zozo said it on an old thread but I can't find it.
I think it is better to feed the EP+EXDOS with the original PSU(probably you will have enough with 1,3A), and the floppy drives with the additional PSU only(with +5v and +12v outputs you can connect older 5-1/4 drives).

Are you want a use a real drive? Not just a HXC?
-
I am using my HxC. I understood from pear that it was recommended to have a little bigger power supply than the 1,3W in the original if you power the computer through the controller.
I have not yet testet if the original 1,3W is enough. I do not yet have a the correct power cable to connect the floppy power output from the controller to the HxC. At the moment I am using an old and BIG external powersupply for the HxC. It works but I would like a more stable and smaller solution :-)
-
If you are only connecting the HxC then you have enough power. Search for a +5v and ground points on the board, or better ask Pear where you can take the power.
-
You mean recovering the power of over 6 W from the power supply (https://enterpriseforever.com/hardware/enterprise-power-module-epower/msg70821/#msg70821) ?
-
No, sorry... I mean a stock EP+Pear's compact EXDOS+HxC... I think it is enough with the stock PSU.
Then I mean, where on your compact EXDOS card can John take +5v and ground safely?
-
The card has a standard Molex socket with +5V power supply for the FDD drive.
-
1,3W
Not W! Ampere
-
Aha...! I remember, you have put a bigger FlashRom in this EXDOS-Compact version. Then it is easy to put there the HxC Manager Rom.

Not a Molex, it is a Berg. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Berg_connector) Molex is the 5.25" power connector.

I suggested to John Fante order it is with big Flash ROM with lot of ROMs.

And his machine already have a 1M SRAM board, which is also do some power reduction, like this machine. (https://enterpriseforever.com/hardware/enterprise-power-module-epower/msg70962/#msg70962)

Sorry for messing up W and A. A mistype from many years of PC power supply usage where everything is measured in W.
I will try with the original power supply and see if it can take the load and report back.
Thank you!

I can confirm that the 1,3A power supply is enough to power the EP, EnterMice, Compact Exdos controller v. 2 from pear and a HxC :-)

Great! I guessed it will be enough. Stronger one only needed when using real drive. (Or a separate supply for the drives).
