I have problems with the game on my Ep128... The version from the sd card hung up on the first level boss. The version from gamebase hungs up on the second level end boss (the one shooting rockets)... Tried the gamebase version on emulator and the game didn't hang... (the hanging is repeatable on the real machine)...

I think most of the conversions has bugs. In the pre-internet era, the converters dont get feedback from the players about the conversions.
And the the converter dont play the game... or at least dont play many.

Oh...ok.
I really like the game as it's of my favourite run'n'gun genre... Not many similar games in the era(?)...
Although what bugs me is that when I've tried it on the emulator the game didn't hang (but I've tested only once and only two first levels)

Maybe was the conversion born in the emulator ? :) (It's a guess only ...)
Emulator is good, very- very much, but not perfect.
For example my started game is running perfectly in the emulator (it was developed with that),
but chrashing on a real steel ... :)

Az én átiratommal nem lehet gond. (DTF verzió, 128k hang)
Többször is végigjátszottam csalás nélkül is, EP 128 német billentyűs gépemen.
Akkoriban, mikor átírtam és végigjátszottam, még nem létezett emulátor, akkoriban XT PC-k voltak csak CGA monitorral.

Attus's version has 128K Speccy sound, and it is a DTF packed version, but it can happen somobody unpacked it, you should compare the DTF version with the gamebase version if gamebase version has also 128k Speccy sound.

A 02.img lemezképmáson van a midnight.dtf fájl
Ezt a lemez képmást tkell kiírni egy floppy lemezre és a valód EP gépen lehet futtatni az exdossal. Vagy az emulátorral is lehet. :)
Az exdos.ini tölti be az attus programot, az a loader, ezzel lehet betölteni a lemezen levő midnight.dtf fájlt, mely az összes pályát tartalmazza.
Minden dtf fájl egy külön átiratom, erről a lemezről a kedvencem a tourforce éa a midnight resistance.

02.img disk image contains midnight.dtf .
This disk image should be written to floppy and it can be run on real EP, or it can be done on emulator also :) ( but you can use the disk image on emulator also)
exdos.ini loads attus program which is a loader you can load midnight.dtf file with it, which contains all level.
Every DTF file is mine(Attus) separate conversion , my(Attus) favourites from this disk are Tourforce and Midnight Resistance.

Thank you, but what if I don't have a floppy drive for my enterprise and want to play it on the real machin? Is there a way to copy and run it from the sd? (I hope this isn't a stupid question)

You can copy files on modern OSes to the EP SD card ... just plug into an SD card reader and copy ... from the RAR file ...

Sorry... but unfortunately yes...that was the question... I haven't tried extracting the files from the img...
I really should learn to think and try out before posting...
EDIT:
played this version and it didn't hang like the two other versions (although I was able to defeat the second level end boss just to die a little later)

If you want to try on a real machine you need to download the tape version of DTF loader, and just load the files with TAPIR, or EPTE to the enterprise connected by a jack cable to the PC.
