Title: Noob software question regarding TOSEC.
Post by: Prefim on 2022.October.07. 13:36:42
So I finally got the ENT64 working and a stable screen (TR2 and a wonky inverter).

I can see there's a sealed tape in the box I have, and really don't want to open it.
The TOSEC looks to have loads of games in lots of different formats to try but how am I loading them in?

I'm familiar with TZXduino type devices so can they be loaded as audio via emulated tape? is that the simplest approach? Obv an SD adaptor would be ideal but I'm seeing what I can do with what I have.

Hi.

To create WAV-files for loading software you need Tapir: http://ep128.hu/Ep_Emulator.htm (bottom of the page)
Games for EP64 you can find there: http://ep128.hu/Ep_Games/Games_Ep64_eng.htm

Also, not too long ago, I created a Telegram channel for quick and easy loading software with a smartphone using audio input.

I hadn't planned to show it so early, as there are too few entries so far. But I plan to add popular games to it, although I don't have much free time for that right now.
