VIC emulator
« on: 2009.September.18. 18:07:32 »
It seems, i need a little help, to run a Vic-Game...
Maybe, you can write it here step by step....

What i've done so far :
1. I used the "EP_640k_EXOS231_EXDOS_utils.cfg"
2. I ran the Vic-Emulator
3. I've used/pushed the F6-Key
4. But the only thing i saw then, was a black screen...I could not see or select any Vic20*.prg

Don't know, what i have to do with the Disk-Settings in EP128Emu.......can't select a vic-dump here (floppy or ide)

The *prg's are in the same folder, as the vic-emulator.....
If i select nothing at the disk-Settings, and do only type for example :
Load"Pit",8 or Load"pit",8,1..............the vic Emu is searching for the file.....but find nothing...

So, what did i wrong or what did i forget to do ?

Normally you should see the directory of the disk when you pressed F6.
I do not know why it is not working. Do you use 1.44Mb floppy image?

Yes, there are some empty disk image in Disk folder of EP128emu, you can mount it with VFD, and then copy the programs.
But if you use EP config with FileIO without floppy emulation the load should work from Hard disk too, I hope.

O.K. GOT IT  :smt026

My mistake was: I used the config-File "EP_640k_EXOS231_EXDOS_utils.cfg".....but from the ep128uk-Folder, not from the ep128hun-Folder   :smt021

Now I can see all prg's, when using the F6-Key  :ds_icon_cheesygrin:

I am just playing the game "Vic-Man", of course  ;-)
