Talán a MAX312/313/314 chipek segíthetnek ebben vagy más Joystick áramkörökben.

Ez egy négyes szilárdtest-kapcsoló, amelynek előnye, hogy a kimenetet elszigeteli az aktiváló jeltől, és az 5V közelében működik. Két ilyen chippel egy teljes 3 gombos joystick megfelelően elszigetelhető és átalakítható EP-re.

A chipek 4 kapcsolója lehet normál esetben nyitott (MAX313), normál esetben zárt (MAX312) vagy mindkét módból 2 (MAX314).

Maybe the chips MAX312/313/314 can aid on this or other Joystick circuits.

It is a quad solid state switch, that offers the advantage of isolate the output from the activating signal and work near the 5V. With two of such chips a complete 3 buttons joystick can be correctly isolated and converted to EP.

The 4 switches of the chips can be normally open(MAX313), normally closed(MAX312) or 2 of each(MAX314).

This time I think I am correct....

I have searched on the net for a Rapid fire circuit, with positive commons, and I have found one here.

It uses its own way to produce the auto-fire, but what interest me more is the part when the designer uses a CD4066BE to isolate the contacts on the target computer.

The CD4066BE is a DIL CMOS chip, and it seems a perfect option to isolate the EP from the joystick circuits. Now it only needs +5 and GND, and the control signals are on the TTL range, 0/+5v

I have modified the schematic to show only the applicable part of the schematic:

Observe the pull-down resistors at the left side. They are necessary to maintain the switches open when the buttons are inactive, and also to avoid short-circuits when the buttons are pressed. Usually the computers joystick ports have these resistors included on the main PCB, but this circuit is emulating that to convert the port to keyboard matrix, the system used on the EP. In reality we don't know the voltage and intensity returned by the joystick circuit, but It seems that only +3,5v will trigger the switches, so enough.

It was a busy week for me, but I'm back with some news. First of all, thanks gflorez for your dedication with all of this information. To be honest this is a bit complex for me, but with my order I got a user guide, maybe this will bring us closer to the best solution.

On the other side, yesterday I met with a guy, and he gave me a contact who can help with this, I will write to him probably today, and ask for his help. I will give you an update.

Az eredeti chipek 74LS32-esek, a HCT sorozat valószínűleg nem fog működni, mert az áramkör kihasznál néhány olyan tulajdonságot, amellyel csak az NMOS chipek rendelkeznek, például a nyitott kollektor fordított irányú.

The original chips are 74LS32, the HCT series probably will not work, because the circuit benefits from some characteristics only NMOS chips have, like open collector reverse direction.
